Welcome to DEMODOB WORK LTD. By using our website, services, or engaging with us as a client or candidate, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Definitions

  • “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to DEMODOB WORK LTD.
  • “Client” means any business, contractor, or organization using our services to obtain temporary workers.
  • “Candidate” or “Worker” refers to any individual applying for or placed into temporary roles via our agency.
  • “Services” means recruitment, placement, and any other employment-related services provided by DEMODOB WORK LTD.

2. About Us

DEMODOB WORK LTD. is a registered temporary employment agency based in London, England. We specialize in supplying vetted construction professionals, including plumbers and general labourers, for temporary assignments across the UK.

3. Use of Our Services

For Clients:

  • Clients must provide accurate project details, safety requirements, and expected duration of employment.
  • Clients agree to comply with employment law, health and safety regulations, and payment terms as outlined in any signed service agreement or invoice.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw workers if unsafe, unlawful, or discriminatory conditions are reported on-site.

For Candidates:

  • Candidates must provide accurate personal details, valid right-to-work documents, and up-to-date qualifications.
  • Any false information provided during registration or onboarding may result in removal from our database.
  • Candidates agree to comply with client site rules, safety regulations, and the terms of any placement.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Clients must give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of a booked worker. Failure to do so may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Last-minute bookings will be fulfilled where possible but are not guaranteed.
  • If a placed worker fails to attend or leaves early, we will attempt to find a replacement within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Payment Terms

  • All invoices are payable within 7 to 14 days, as specified in the individual service agreement or invoice.
  • Late payments may incur interest and additional administrative fees as permitted by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  • Payment for services confirms agreement with the hours worked and services delivered.

6. Liability

  • While we aim to provide reliable, qualified candidates, we do not guarantee performance or suitability for a specific role.
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, delay, or expense incurred due to the actions or omissions of a placed candidate.
  • Clients are responsible for workplace health and safety, supervision, and training on-site.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—including text, logos, graphics, and branding—is the property of DEMODOB WORK LTD. and may not be used or reproduced without prior written consent.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We handle all personal data in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. For more details on how we collect, store, and process personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate services or remove candidates from assignments for:

  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions
  • Unsafe or unlawful conduct on-site
  • Non-payment of invoices or misuse of our services
  • Reputational or legal risk

Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement by providing notice in accordance with the contract.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
